RE: OT Laptop Hard drive into Desktop PC for file recovery
Tom,
What you need is a 2.5 inch drive conversion kit. Dunno where you
might buy
one, someone here is bound to know a URL.
Basically consists of a circuit board to convert the pins, and a
mounting
kit. Usually about a fiver.

recovery
Help
Can anyone tell me if it is possible/easy to install a Toshiba laptop
drive into a PC on the IDE bus. My laptop has died and before sending
it away for repair (which will take some time at this time of year) I
would like to recover some spreadsheets so that I can continue some
work. I know I should have backed it up recently but !!!!
Any help would be much apreciated.
Tom
