I meant with the weak typing etc.
PHP has a similar syntax to C#/jav/javascript/any other c-a-like, but in
terms of features, it seems (and I'm only about 1/2 way though my book) more
like a scripty/declare on first use/typeless language - just like vbscript
in fact!

hmph - I started pc development with gwbasic :-)  none of yer fancy VB gui's
for me then!
