In what way?  You call a function, it does something, it may or may not
return a value.....

Chris,

Asp.Net can be written in any of the .Net languages - C#, Vb.net, Cobol.net
etc.
Asp is 2closer" to normal vb than Asp.net is - language-wise at least.
Vb.Net still has a fair old learning curve, even for a VB programmer.....
Asp.Net is closer to vb in terms of the IDE and being able to double click
on a form element to get to the code behind it etc...
