OK First thing to remember here is that this is a DVD of a fire! So
don't get too excited about the story line or the plot! However it has
to be one on the best talking points of my home cinema set up!

So what do you get:
Well a few different scenes:
Fire complete with surround
Fire on its own (I.e. Zoomed in, no surround) --------- (This one gets
my vote!)
Candles
Candles with starry glint
Saucy Fire (Which appears to be the close up fire with various video
effects added, most odd!)

-The fire actually has a life cycle. i.e burns fully, logs get smaller!
How cooool!

A choice of sound tracks, all rather canned music, BUT one Crimbo track
which makes it all worth it :-)
The choice of Stereo or 5.1 mode!
The ability to loop your chosen fire and single audio or loop with each
audio track one by one.
If you don't want music you can just have 5.1 crackles and pops, again a
little canned.

For the true UKHA test I sat SWMBO in front of the screen (We have a 42"
Plasma.)..........the result:

Much jubilation! I quote "Ah that's great it will be brilliant for our
party on Friday, a real talking point" the next comment was even better
"Do you know it actually seems warmer in here with that going". SWMBO
approval and under a tenner! I'd say that was a result! (OK so the
plasma, amp, 5.1 speakers etc etc was more than a tenner!)

And yes she's right. Strangely enough it did seem warmer!

Many thanks

Rob Mouser
