Why? This is the story of the loss of most (all) creature comforts for the
next 6 months. At present I live in a nice modern house with tree
bedrooms, bathroom, big(ish) sitting room etc etc. I have various nice
toys to play with including a Sony 32" TV, home cinema, stacks of DVD's to
watch, etc etc etc. Now as of mid January we're moving into a 36'x12'
mobile home for 4-6 months whilst out barn conversion is completed. So out
goes the Sony TV (which does support NTSC) and all of the other toys and
in comes the old 20" JVC (which doesn't).

The next half year is going to be some what challenging. Very few creature
comforts, tiny rooms, two small kids, it's winter, no broadband (if fact
no telephone for a month or so).
