Having Sky+ and just bought a Tivo cheap for CCTV use - The one major
advantage that I can see for Sky+ is the dual tuners - no problems
watching something and recording another channel!

Form what I have read this is never going to happen. But since I don't
have Sky and won't get it until the can compete with NTL package that I
use then I don't really care. That being said, it must be great news for
PVR users everywhere!!
