Keep us updated Timothy - one thing that would really annoy me if I now
went down the Sky+ route is to loose the ability of my tivonet.
Updates
via my adsl is sooo much nicer than phoneline.
If sky only had plans for this too.

Subject: [ukha_d] Sky+ software update
Sky+ has been updated so that it now has the ability to buffer live TV
-
as standard it is turned off, but can be set up to buffer up to 60mins
of live TV for instant re-wind.
I wouldn't say that it has changed my life, but it has changed my
viewing habits. I'd say that it needs two more updates to be a Tivo
killer - the ability to record two (or more) streams at once, and
predictive recording based on viewing habits. The optical output makes
a
big difference to sound quality, both on DD films (Dick Tracy was fun)
and on downmixed PCM for the rest of the channels.
Tim.
