This probably won't come as a great surprise, but I'll share the 
experience anyway.
A couple of weeks ago I ordered a second-hand barcode scanner from 
Laser. I couldn't get it to work, and they duly shipped a replacement 
without waiting on the return. That didn't work either... and I was 
beginning to doubt my sanity.  Finally, Li shipped a third scanner
which he had tested personally prior to shipping. It worked right out 
of the box.
A big hand to Laser for great customer service.
