I cancelled my OnDigital subscription a long time before ITV Digital went
b=
ust. I had loads of problems trying to get them to collect the box - they
f=
ailed to collect 3 times! Finally got it collected after a chat with a
busi=
ness colleague who used to be very senior in their marketing department -
s=
he had a word and then 'hey presto' all sorted (and got =A310 compensation
=
- although I didn't bank the cheque - too late now:-( )
Should have kept it - although when I said I was going to bin the box if
th=
ey didn't collect it - legal action was mentioned!
Paul.

I bought a pre-paid box and didn't get my year out of it before they went
b=
ust.
Apparently the manufactures vastly under rated the market for FreeView
boxe=
s and you can't get them for love nor money at the moment. So
suddenl=
y there's a big market for the old boxes.
Are ITVD still around? Who is this XXX-Thorton crowd that are in the
=
BBC interview?
M.
They don't want to pick them up. They just want =A340 for them!!
They waited until Freeview was up and running and people started
dig=
ging
out their boxes to use with FreeView. =A3100 for a new box or =A340
=
to keep
the existing one? Good move by ITVD !!
