Thanks for the welcome Frank,

This system is very interesting for me as we actually have a software
guy who writes a program for us to talk to our alarm panels over here
(we use Menvier mostly).   However, it's not an easy task and can be
quite convoluted at times.   I will pass the link for the site onto
him and see what he thinks.   Thanks for your help.
