It is usually the transmitter power that determines the range of the X-10
wireless products, although the receiver's sensitivity would help too.

There are lots of discussions on increasing the sensitivity of X-10 radio
receivers on the Net. Search for RR501 or TM751 as much of the information
applies to the TM12 too.
