Hello,

Is anyone using the AM12 and TM13 plug-in x10 appliance modules? Which
do you think is best?

I was attracted to the status feature of the TM13 but I noticed that
the module is hardwired as number one, whereas with the AM12 you can
specify both the letter and number to which the module responds. This
seems to be a limitation of the TM13 as you are restricted to
specifying a letter only.

Ok I haven't got 256 appliances that I need to control (yet) so should
I get the TM13? Is the status really that useful? If the adaptor is
switched by x10 only, then surely the software should know whether it
is on or off anyway?

Thanks.
