Hi Michael,
We moved to Co. Mayo in September. We are still using our UK digibox
with a larger dish. The only drawbacks are not being able to order pay
per view films and not having the Irish TV channels.  Meridian News
does
not really make much sense out in the West of Ireland, but I suppose it
would keep your Tivo and Sky channels compatible. 

You can manually add other channels to the digibox. There is a list of
all channels at http://www.lyngsat.com/dig/skyuk.shtml
Have you found any HA suppliers out here?
