Having the floor boards up in the rear bedroom (to level the joists) I bought a roll of speaker cable to lay in anticipation of whole house audio. Having started to do this I'm wondering how people are controlling the volume ?

Should I be laying an extra cat5 cable to each room for volumne/on/off control or do people control it from node0 only ? I suppose a compromise would be a wireless touch screen in each zone that links back to the central server... bit pricey though..

Marcus
