Ah - well posted....
Reminds me that Phil's pressure meter is currently at my house, and
really ought to be returned :-)
BTW - My "set up by ear" had all the channels within 1dB of each
other -
there again, I was a recording engineer in the late 80s :-)

The proper way to do it is to use a sound pressure meter although I
find
my ears incredibly useful for that very task ;)
Either that or invite Phil round with his pressure meter.
