Yeah, I wish I had perhaps scanned the front covers before passing on
most
of my CDs.. They might be useful to use in a webby sense, as I'm still
searching for the ultimate MP3 front end. I use a Snowcrash web server
plugin for Winamp just now, but it's certainly lacking the guts to work
with
huge collections.
One of my mates (Sean, on the list here) has a neat Linux solution, but
that
involves porting the last few systems in the house from Win2K to
Penguin
country..

I agree that space is an issue when you have a huge CD collection.
What I decided to do was take the CD and front cover out of the case
and
slip in to a 208 cd holder. I've got 4 of these done so far........ and
takes up a lot less room....
