RE: MP3 Backup

Just a thought:

Why, in this day and age when hard drive space is so relatively cheap,
wouldn't you want to use a lossless compression algorithm like FLAK or SHIN
instead of a loss one like MP3?

I guess I still don't like the idea of a computer program deciding what I
can and cannot hear... I want it all!

I'm in the process of doing the same thing, only using EACH, FLAK, and a
couple of IDA tag programs I wrote in VB...

Hi All

Now that I have got a DDAR I have started the long task to mp3ing 350
CD's and this is obvisouly going to run to about 20 Gig. Just wondering
what other users of largeish mps collection do for backup. I can use the
DVD writer on my imac for the moment but that will soon become a pain.

What do people do?

Cheers

Ben
