Anyone know how the MemoZap works with Sky+? I can see real frustration
if you happen to be setting up a recording or looking at the programme
guide and the unit sends a 'backup', effectively backing out of the menu
you're in!

Paul.

I think the main idea is to get rid of that flippin annoying 'red dot'
for interactive services. However if you have pronto I guess you could
program a macro that does that for you while using your AV kit. (Not
tested or tried my theory though!)

Many thanks

The MEMOZAP states that "it will ensure that the box (digibox)never
stays in
standby mode for more than a few minutes"

Does keeping a Sky digibox in standby mode for an extended period cause
any
problems? If not, what is the point of the memozap (am I missing
something
here)?

Rob, I don't have a plasma, but I have one of these:

http://www.pacelink.co.uk/memozap.htm

It sends backup command every few minutes, which removes the anoying red
dot.
