FORCE is an HV specific thing. There is no concept of a FORCE command
(or equivalent) in the X-10 spec - appliances are either told to turn
on or off, end of story. If sending multiple "on" commands to a given
appliance module results in the module failing, then that is
presumably a design fault on the part of the appliance module -
nothing to do specifically with eitherHV or the X-10 powerline
protocol. I'm surprised (and doubtful) this issue really exists, but
I'm not going to sacrifice an appliance module in the interests of
science.
