With the loft 50% boarded, it's about time I started running CAT5/coax
through the house.  Node0 is relocating to the front (north-west) eaves in
the loft, and the cinema is going in the centre of the loft.  The big
question is how do I run my cables?  Is tacking them to things with a staple
gun acceptable?  Do I use conduit where they will be plastered over?

Yes, I do know I should use more CAT5 than I need.  Luckily, running more
will not be difficult at floor level on the ground floor, or ceiling level
on the top floor due to crawling space below, and the loft above.  I am
thinking of four runs to the TV in the front room, and two to each other
room.  One coax to each room also.  Does this sound reasonable?

My video will be by coax until I can afford to get KAT5 in, and sort out IR
distribution.  Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Andy
