Yes!

If you mean the actual unit itself, it seems to be establishing itself
as the standard DVDR for DVD-R. Apple uses them in the lastest iMAcs. I
got one about 2 weeks ago and haven't had a single problem burning DVDs. Only operates at 1x speed but 2x speed media is now available. Search
the list for an update on some testing I did with various media.

As far as price is concerned, I got mine for =A3199 inc VAT from
www.bigpockets.co.uk but there are other vendors selling at the same
price.

High speed recorders are scheduled to be released soon (x4 speed) but
you'll need to wait, pay a premium, and probably pay higher media
prices.
