RE: Re: URGENT - Please Read
Hi
I know that not all people may like this but what about setting up
another group to discuss this issue (OT posts), the other group can
go
away and chat and argue about this and then present its findings back
to
the main group. Possibly returning with 3 options that can be voted on.
This is how a company would handle this.
This way only the people who wish to discuss this do.

GOD!! ENOUGH ALREADY!!!
Tony, I think by now we ALL know what you are trying to say.
Mark originally posted asking people to VOTE about the list, not start
a
huge discussion on what should be done about OT posts, so can we PLEASE
stop this going over and over the same thing.
Thank you

Oh god - look have you been following my posts?
I was trying to say that we should not assume everyone wants change
because a few people complain.
I know for a FACT that there are 652 members of the group - the front
page for it on Yahoo tells me this. If I could be arsed, and I really
can't, I could go count and prove for a FACT that < 50% of these
have
posted in say the last 6 months. I'm sure Mark can confirm that he has
not had complaining emails from > 326 members.

OH ffs, don't turn this into a pissing contest please or start getting
all pedantic.
I am not saying I know for a FACT that the majority are happy/unhappy
with the things the way they are, just that we shouldn't assume
anything.
Certainly a number of posters (and posters seem to be in the minority
compared to lurkers) are unhappy and at least some of those have made
their feelings known - so certainly a vocal minority are unhappy.
It
may be more than a minority, it may not that's all I'm saying.
Tony
