Now that all the shouting is over maybe I can ask a sensible question
about this! ;)

Frank, can I use the likes of the Xantech receivers on your system or
do
you know if they would be compatible? It's no biggie other than the
fact
that I have a shedload of IR gear installed already and I honestly
never
thought to ask the question.

The idea of zoned reception as well as transmission is *very* appealing

that.

I did try zoning using HV and the expansion board but TBH I thought it
was a bit pants and didn't bother looking into it any further.
