Since then a number of people have come up with suggestions as to how
to get round the issue. I think building a separate small interface
that connects to FIRM is a much better idea, rather than Frank having
to scrap his design. It's simple really, you'd just end up buying the
regular HV version plus a little adapter with software...(I assume
with a COM interface so you can tart about with it in other
applications)...

The design started out as a HV addon not a PC addon, in fact there
was a big discussion about it because I was trying (and failing) to
do the same..

And no the HV addon board from CSI doesn't give Zoned IR rx...
