KAT5 and S/PDIF

I did mail Keith about this. Just
wondering
wether I could send a S/PDIF signal over cat5 - without going through the
KAT5 (ie wiring it direct).

Needs to go about 5 metres. That way
I could use a couple of KAT5 modules for the svideo signal, and then this
direct for SPDIF. Can't be having yer analogue stereo ways in my house
eyethangewe
