If you have access to the ceiling rose, why not fit something like a
'handy little relay board' from CPC ? I guess the bathroom has a loft
above which should help ?

I have a 1 mono speaker in the bathroom and want to be able to switch it
on or off
When the light switch is on or off.

Any suggestions on how I can achieve this ?
