Well, maybe it's the wrong question, then :-)

I _have_ voted, but I, like Graham, see them as different devices...

Example 1: A device to remote control the main hifi/cinema system - handheld

Example 2: A device to watch the telly on the loo, with touchscreen controls - wall mounted :-)

If we all say BOTH then we don't answer the question.  This was discussed
last week, some wanted wall mounted PRONTOs or what ever, other said PDAs in
your hand etc.  So..lets just TRY and think which we'd want if we only could
have ONE.
