Hi Frank et al
If I could figure out how to get the app to speak to the wrapper I am
planning to use it is in theory possible to provide support through
an existing interface. In reality GIRDER (that is the PC app that
learns IR commands from supported devices and then sends some sort of
action command?) has an open interface and it would be better to
develop a plugin that worked with my command strings. This way
everything would be a lot more flowing and not bits here and there
etc. Ideally when my units are up and running I (or anyone) would
need to develop this plugin. The main area needing some though is the
idea of my units supporting zoning rather than just simply being
repeaters. They can of course act as either depending on the address
in the envelope.

p.s. this rescent update was the result of many hours in the shed
over the last few months not just a week!!
