>You don't need one - set your cards to "Adhoc" mode, and they communicate without an access point. I didn't know you could do that, useful, but I do have a SMC Barricade 7004ABR router connected to my cable modem, and have my server on the LAN, so I would need to look at either an access point or replacing the router with a wireless model.
