It's just a network card. The PC thinks it's connecting via a
LAN.

Yup - not a problem.

Probably a better option, as ICS can be flaky.

You may find a WAP11 an easier option, as it's literally plug 'n' play if
you want to (although not very secure!) The PCI NIC option will be
almost
as expensive too, so little advantage. You can also relocate the
WAP11 as
required for best coverage. That's the main reason I'm going for a
WAP to
replace my PCI NIC.
