Welcome to the group Steven,

For fluorescents you can use an appliance module of some description (there
are various models).

Places to buy are:

Lets Automate www.letsautomate.com
Laser Business systems www.laser.com

With regards to this group, I hope you have a large wallet, and watch out
for the terms "Bargin" (TM Phil Harris) and "Bulk Buy" (TM Unknown)

Regards

Stuart

Hello,

I have just found this group. I'm interested in using something like
x-10 to automate my home. I have read that some of the lamp modules
only work for incandescent filament bulbs but I am using low energy
fluorescents. Which units can I use? I searched the group archive but
couldn't find anything; a web search suggests that some light modules
are damaged or flicker with fluorescent lights.

Finally where is the best place (cost/service) to get this kit in the
UK?

Thanks,
Stephen.
