This is very common wiring and is known as three-plate or ply IIRC.

Basically the wall switch *only* switches the live, the neutral is
common and not switched at all. The only way to do it is to work out
which wires are which at the ceiling rose or junction box and wire the
AWM2 in there. This will work, but off the wall switch, as the module
expects a momentary switch you may have to toggle the switch on/off to
get the module to respond properly as you do a DIN rail appliance
module.

Exactly how you would wire it in is very dependant on the way it has
been physically done originally and if you are unsure of working with
the mains, then don't attempt it!
