Dear All,
I was wondering if anyone else here has been using .NET
Enterprise Server Release Candidate 1 in the Customer Preview Program? I
found
it to be very useful especially Terminal Services. I'm going to get a set
of
beta licensecodes for my Terminal Services Licensing Server. First I need
to
reinstall though, I buggered the clock and tripped the beta "self-destruct"
which is now T+12:20 so it will screw up if I reboot. The one true shame is
that
"Solitaire" and "Freecell" don't come with the "Administrative Tools". That
is a
big issue I think, it's very useful during service pack upgrades. Biologon
3
works fine on .NET as far as I can tell (haven't got more scanners so can't
try
the Active Directory logon with it). There's a new wallpaper, suprisingly
enough
called "Windows.NET Server". Still looking for a paler shade of grey
though. If
anyone else has any experiences to share or suggestions on how to control
the
audio coming from the server remotely without taking over the console
session
(non-console sessions can't output audio at the server, even if "Leave
sound at
the other computer" is selected in the RDP client) I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
again and goodbye.
