I recently purchased a SOM1 relay board
(http://www.phaedrusltd.co.uk/system/index.html)
I am running 2 sets of speakers connected to a soundcard over CAT5 and thought
I would try switching using the relay board (that's not why I bought it though)

The wiring uses 4 cores, orange = left, green = right, w/o & w/g = ground*.
When I switch the ground it just goes a bit quieter? Any ideas why this
happens? I thought it would just switch the sound off!

Cheers,
Justin.

* I think it probably isn't a great idea to use 2 cores for ground & 1 each for
left/right, but don't know why! I was thinking about shielding.
