RE: Fujitsui Tablets PC

Title: RE: [ukha_d] Videos / piccys on Saturday
1: Yes. I'm using an Orinoco card on mine.

2: Win98 - yes. Win 2k - probably not - they are only 486-class machines.

3: Finger works OK (but you need to clean the screen more often)

4: USB - No. Keyboard - Yes. Mouse - can't remember :-)

5: Never had mine crash. But I turn it off when I've finished using it, rather than leaving it running 24x7.

Regards,

Mark

Alot of talk about these a while and i know some are selling a few on the list.
I am interested in buying one but just need to know i little more about them
from some experienced users.

1) can I put a wireless netwrok on them
2) they come with win 95 can install win 2000 on them or win xp ?
3) do you have to use the pen styli or can you use your finger ?
4) do they have usb, ps2 keyboard and mouse ports ?
5) how reliable are they ? are they prone to crashing ?

any views and comments much appreciated.

i generally just want to use it as a controller in
main lounge for all my home automation and entertainment.
