RE: Bathroom :Auto Filling Bath ? & TV's ?

Not sure if you guys discussed this the last time round but...

I remember seeing an invention on Tommorows World, that made use of the
baths overflow to decide if the bath was full.  What happened was that
the
overflow pipe had something like a small bucket attached to it.  When
the
bath was full, water would start going down the overflow pipe and thus
cause
the small bucket to fill up.  The bucket became heavy and thus was
able to
operate a valve to turn of the water to the hot and cold taps.

The bucket had a small hole it it so that after a time the taps would
be
slowly turned back on.  If the water overflowed again the taps turned
of
again.

Simple idea, but probably more suited to preventing the bath from
flooding
if forgoton.  Not very good for filling the bath to a preset level
other
than FULL.
