I agree about the lack of useful x10 mains modules as well, but to
develop them you require EMC approval, and that can cost =A31000's
thats why there are not that many, just to cover development and EMC
you need to sell alot, and no one is likely to do that with X10 not
widely know about here.

RF is license exempt it would still comunicate with your X10 modules
via a X10 transceiver. Its just that the sensor can be anything you
like as long as it communicates with the transceiver, which I can do
using RF X10 protocol. It would work the same way a keyfob
communicates with X10 at the moment.
