Not worried about them per-se, just didn't know if they meant there was
a
problem or not.
Even _I_ can click on two dialogs to dismiss them, though I did wonder
what
would happen if I attempted to run HS as a service.....

Why not make it configurble and have them displayed as part of a 'debug
mode' setting like you say about the form later in your email?

Yes phone rang, but nothing in the HS event log and no status changes -
Meteor still had the details of the previous call.

Nope, nothing in the HS event log. Where else should I look?
The red light was OFF when I made this second call, so I guess the
serial
port got closed for some reason.....

Okey doke. Just hard to pin down the source of the problem as HS is
new,
your plugin is new, Meteor is new.
I guess I could try the ActiveCID VB demo without HS running to see if I
can
eliminate HS/the plugin from my enquiries.
I don't want to just go to crucible and say it doesn't work because
they
will just blame either your s/w or HS if they are like most of the
other
tech support crowds I've had to deal with over the years......
cheers,
Tony
