I bought one as I really needed it for a TTS project and the unit is
pricey I agree but BT did a similar unit a few years back at =A350 which did much the same thing, I think I've still got that knocking about
somewhere. AIUI Meteor is more use for our needs though.

What is unacceptable is the software that goes with the Meteor unit now
IMO and I have discussed this with the MD of Crucible at length but to
be honest I gave up arguing about it! But =A325 excl. VAT per pop-up
terminal seems a bit OTT IMO. I bought ACE server, TTS engine and got a
client, mailing from the HA system and a raft of other functionality for less than the cost of two licences from Crucible! Just my opinion, but
for such a simple piece of software this smacks of a rip-off to me.
