Veronica FM Question
The simple answer is that the use of a Veronica FM transmitter on the
FM
broadcast band is illegal
Owning a transmitter is not illegal, using an unlicenced one is.
However it's doubtful that anyone would complain to the
Radiocommunications
Agency (RA), unless of course you've chosen to plonk your Veronica on top
of
one of your neighbour's favourite stations.
In fact if you look at the bottom of the Veronica web page
http://www.veronica.co.uk/50mw-stereo.htm
you'll find the following
disclaimer
IMPORTANT NOTE!
Some of the items on this page require an operating licence. It is an
offence in the UK and some other countries of the world to radiate
electro
magnetic waves at certain frequencies without a licence. It is the
Customer's responsibility to check relevant laws, regulations and
directives
regarding licensing and putting into service any goods commissioned by
Veronica Ltd.
