RE: Justins Homseer / Meteor Plugin

Ahh - a modem!! I flung my modem in the bin 2 years ago after getting a
cable modem. I'll have to dig out an old 14.4k modem for HSP use.
Great plugin Justin. Many thanks :-)

Michael

Michael

are you trying to use HS/HSP with just a Meteor? If so, it won't work. You
will
need a modem installed, otherwise HSP won't be aware there is an incoming
call
and won't announce anything.

If you do have a modem installed in your machine then you need to select
that
in HSP options.
To have calls announced you will need to go into your phone book entries and
select "Announce this caller" and optionally set a custom announcement. You
will need to do this for each entry you wish to be announced or you can
select "Apply this to all address book entries".
If you wish to have calls without phonebook entries announced you will need
to
set that in the HSP options.

Justin.
