The basic one would be good enough though.  Maybe I'll run X86config
again and tell it I have a generic card.....

Not installed.  There's an Xconfigurator.pm file which I marked as
executable and ran but it crapped out with loads of errors.

Maybe I should just whack in a different card and see how I get on......
