Re: London mini-meet :-(

Chaps,

Time for me to have my say.
(Not receiving the group at work today due to trying to actually get
some work done. Couldn't resist a peek via web interface so here I am
now...)

The link you gave is correct Kieran.  They are wavelan Ethernet
converters.
I went back to the guy to see if he had more but he is out of silver
cards completely.  I asked about ordering a dozen Ethernet converters
and he came back to say he had less than that number in stock.
I asked how many and he has not come back to me on it.

I can't seem to find a UK source of these, but then, it's hard to
find _anyone_ selling orinocco/agere products in the UK - the few I
found didn't do the converters.

Meanwhile, linksys have launched the WET11, which is a similar device
but seems to have the cards built in.  I don't know when it will
appear over here as it's only just come into stock in the US.

I have your stuff here Kieran so will still meet tonight around 7.
Upstairs or downstairs?  I will be wearing a blue checked shirt,
specs, goatee (not a disguise I assue you!).

Mark - sorry to hear you are spewing for England.  Do you want to:
a/ Wait till I come over with the Audiotrons Phil is collecting and
he comes with the SLiMP3's I am collecting for your cards?
b/ Me to post them to you?
c/ Arrange another meetup where I can hand them over?

cheers,

Tony
