activehome 1.3 and win2000

Hi All,

My kit arrived from Laser this morning (great turn around time!) but
unfortunatly. When I install the software it gets as far as asking do
I want to read the readme and then crashes out.

When I try to use the active home with Win2000 I get an error "The
commuications driver failed to load Please ensure the x10comm.vxd is
is present in your working directory"

Does any have any clues or can point me in the direction of other
software to use?
