CCTV Query

Hiya,
planning to put some CTV in to my pad at some point & had a couple
of
questions people might be able to help with.

Having been reminded about the bullet camera by Richard Osbournes site
I'm
quite tempted by these. Unfortunately they lack PIRs, but am also
thinking
of fitting the X10 external floodlights so may be a way around that.

Inital plan is for 2 cameras moving to 4 later. I have an old VCR that
may
do for now, but would like to use vidcap (maybe stealth big brother or
similar) so I can load  it to a webpage.

Thinking some sort of PoE to drive em, fed back to node 0.

Main questions are :

Do I need CT(100/125) cable or can I use CAT5 without expensive baluns?
Tempting though the KAT5 boxes are boosts the cost quite a bit.

How have people put these through walls? Seem to have molded plugs,
extenal
connections, or just a bigger hole?

Anyone had experience with the multi campera capture cards? They were
discussed a while ago, but that all seemed to be preorder.

Anything obvious I've missed?
