Can't help there, I'm using a meteor.

Seems if you don't get the vb and Tivo talking 'just right' the Tivo
gets
upset by the telnet session and dies... but I've had it running nine
days
now without any problems.

Will extract the code when I get a chance and e-mail it off-list.
