PC onboard IR

I'm having problems setting up my serial > IR converter MA600

Got it working then keep getting errors saying cant find device

Looking at the groups.google seems like a common problem

Has anyone any experience of using the onboard IR that comes with lots of motherboards

i.e. what do you need to finish off the job

what connects to the header pins?
