RE: ADSL vs Cable

Had cable (Telewest) over two years at two addresses; I'm very happy
with the picture quality - except where the original broadcaster has
mucked it up by using something like 'film effect'. BBC 1 does this
sometimes, and I usually phone and register my complaint.
I've certainly not seen better pictures on anyone's Sky setup.

Since most of the world is still 4:3, Formula 1 is still not widescreen
anyway.
As others have said, TW customer service sucks; but like most
'utilities' (certainly having dealt with gas, water and electric
recently) the difference between CS and the guys who actually do the
groundwork is enormous. TW's installation people were brilliant both
times - I made a point of praising them on the form you have to sign
when the job's finished.
My cable modem service is also fine - no complaints there!
