Is that really true?  We've had cable for 10 years in Bristol, so I assumed
most cities had it.  Of course, if you're talking about people out in the
sticks, then I agree - they won't have it.  Most people live in cities
though, so if Sky price themselves out of the market in cities, they'll lose
most of their custom.  As far as quality goes, your average joe does not
give a flying as to whether it's good enough for a 42" plasma.  You have to
remember that most of us here are at the high end of the AV scale - we
expect decent quality, and pay through the nose for the priveledge.  Most
people are happy provided they can see something on the screen which is in
colour and not fuzzy!
