Guys,

Here's a thought or two for you all.

If you use a whole house audio system in conjunction with an HA server
for net access, voice announcements and the likes then surely that is
eating a lot of juice? So the question is if you use one of these whole
house chaps then how much power is it consuming over the year? It's
getting a bit much I have a PC, LAN, WLAN and all sorts of stuff running
24/7 now and the fear is an even *bigger* bill than the one I just got!

One of the reasons for starting on HA is that I'm the world's worst for
forgetting to switch off lights etc. and instead of saving power this
debacle starting to go in the opposite direction!!
